Electric current gives the measurement of charge flowing
across a conductor and it can be measured. The instrument used to measure
electric current is called Ammeter. Ammeter measures the rate of flow of charge
across a conductor. Hence, Electric current is called physical quantity.
Ammeter is connected in series combination in an electric circuit.
